This is a hands-on interdisciplinary cybersecurity hackathon hosted by the UFV School of Computing and the Computing Students Association. They welcome participants from all disciplines who are interested in digital security and technology.
During this hackathon, students will work in small teams to explore real cybersecurity challenges. Activities will include a cyber-attack incident response challenge, detecting online threats, solving cybersecurity puzzle challenges, and exploring ideas for AI-based cyber defense systems.
The goal of the hackathon is to introduce students to practical cybersecurity thinking, teamwork, and real-world problem solving. Participants will learn how cyber-attacks occur, how organizations respond to incidents, and how new technologies such as artificial intelligence can help strengthen digital security.
No advanced cybersecurity experience is required. The event is designed to be engaging, educational, and collaborative for students across disciplines.
